Natural Consequence , 2015 is a collaborative installation between Dori Atlantis & Karen Frimkess Wolff. Natural Consequence speaks symbolically about the interdependence of Earth's phenomena and allegorically about our own interdependence. With essentially feminine forms, the media are our symbols: salt for chemical elements and the earth below, painted False Acacia branches for flora, bird and butterfly forms for fauna, blue fiber lines for connecting sky and ground and a bird's nest for shelter. It is installed at Beyond Baroque, Venice CA, in Stories We Hold curated by Cathy Weiss 12'3" x 20" x 3' on staircase to nowhere.
