Grains of Connection 2 , 2015 is a collaboration between Dori Atlantis & Karen Frimkess Wolff. Grains of Connection 2 invokes relationships and connections between various forms of shelter, linking the organic earth-based with technologically altered materials. References within Grains of Connection 2 are to earth, plants, minerals and human artifact. The connecting path and space between shelter forms conjures issues of time, protection and personal space while dealing with strategies for finding and creating havens of safety.
