HOMEGROWN, Selections from the Earth, 2005 is a site-specific mixed media installation that was in 1/2 hour from Home, Cal Arts Alumni at Barnsdall. It was installed in two alcoves of an odd breezeway (theatrical dressing rooms?) designed by the architect Frank Lloyd Wright at Barnsdall Art Park. In this installation, painted seed pods hung from monofilament and moved with the breeze. Slabs of dried adobe and kiln fired adobe leaned against the walls. Digital prints of seed pods were mounted on the walls. size: 12'h x 15'w x 5’d
