Bone Branch, 2011 is a site specific art installation. The installation is part of Tarfest 2011, an event curated by James Panozzo of Launch, at Hancock Park between LACMA & The Page Museum. Bone Branch is made of four peeled and altered branches that rest on and are supported by an existing tree in Hancock Park. Bone Branch was made to resemble bones (this is at the La Brea Tarpits) and was made for that particular tree. Materials: peeled branches, paper mache, wire, acrylic paint. Size: 13' 'x 15' x 10' on tree 35' x 25' x 25'.
